Why WWE Needs Seth Rollins In The Main Event Picture

For the past several months there is absolutely no doubt in any wrestling fans minds that Seth Rollins has been a true beacon of light and a breath of fresh air. THAT gauntlet match or iron man matches or just excellent single programs, he has had it all in 2018 and as if we need a reminder he has shown us what a true star he is.

He just boasts the charisma and skill-set of a Champion. We all know we love the frogsplash, falcon arrow and bucklebomb that have all become staples of Seth Rollins in-ring performances. But one huge change from Vince McMahon and co. that has really raised his stocks is the return of the curb stomp. This move is clearly a fan favourite and a million times better than that god awful knee finisher which he is now using as an average move now.

Seth Rollins Captured The Intercontinental Title at Wrestlemania

Even the run he had with the Intercontinental Championship was excellent that showcased superb matches with Dolph Ziggler, Elias, Kevin Owens, The Miz and Finn Balor. It appears with Dolph retaining at Extreme Rules that we may get one more blow off match but t appears Rollins will be moving onto other things in the near future.

There is no doubt Rollins lifts other superstars above their own level as seen with his impressive matches with underperforming starts such as Jinder Mahal and Mojo Rawley. It is not until you look back to three years ago when he was a heel World Champion that you begin to appreciate how good he really was at the top. It perhaps went a tad unnoticed at the time with WWE’s relentless push of Roman Reigns at all cost.

With that title he was exceptional and with the crowd truly behind him and putting g on breathtaking matches you’d have to imagine that a face Seth Rollins as Universal Champion could be huge! Imagine Rollins reigniting rivalries with his shield brothers Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose as well as Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley and a better booked (heel) Bobby Roode.

Throughout the majority of 2018 it has felt like WWE are pushing the wrong guy and that “The” guy is standing right in front of them in the form of Seth Rollins and the WWE Universe are dying to see him hit the top heights once again and burn it down!
